Family Vacation 2013 - Arizona
It is that time of year again and I am anxious to begin my third year teaching at Jackson Heights. It will be my first year teaching 5th grade, while I have taught 6th grade for the past two years. This year I will also be the junior high girls assistant basketball coach and the high school cheer sponsor as well. I am excited to get even more involved within the school district.
On July 5th of this past summer, I got married to Caleb Wick, the 6th grade teacher and head football coach. It was one of the best days of my life. We enjoyed a memorable honeymoon in Punta Cana.

I am originally from Mayetta, Kansas which is only a few minutes south of Jackson Heights. I graduated high school at Royal Valley and attended College at Kansas State University while majoring in Elementary Education.
I am very close to my family and spend all of my free time hanging out with them. My father is a contractor and part-time farmer. My mother works in the IT department at Stormont Vail Hospital. I have a younger sibling, his name is Blake and he is in the 9th grade at Royal Valley.
I also enjoy outdoor activities, running, baking, and searching for things on pinterest. I have ran a marathon and half-marathon.
